(noun) An invention of a co-opting corporate mechanism designed solely to gradually siphon off the funds of any fixie (see fixed gear bicycle) bicyclists who use them primarily to put on their bicycles at desolate waterside locations or city landmarks so they can take sepia/greyscale, and on the odd occasion, colour photographs of them. Other reasons currently unknown, under investigation.
‘Hey, I just bought a new white Aerospoke, lets take our fixies into the city and photograph them.’
2. (noun) A bicycle wheel, which despite its non NJS (see Japanese Keirin Association) certification, remains mysteriously popular despite its poor characteristics in all important areas of a bicycle wheel.
